It seems in the last few weeks that I have lost much of my interest in the telling of my stories.
Younger folks tend to think that past events have no value I guess. And maybe they are right! Several times I made mention of some important event from past years or a generation ago.
But without these events the present generation would not be enjoying what is commonplace today!

Some people just don't know how good they have it these days. I've enjoyed stories of those older days. I hated hystery class lol but when I meet someone who lived it, I find myself more interested in hearing what it was like. I have a lot of friends who are older than I am (most of them in fact are lol) and some are much older than me so when they tell me how life was for them growing up, I listen.
It is cool to see how the world around us has changed so much. I mean a 20k house back (way back) then was worth the same as a 100k is now. Of course, how much people made for a living was also a lot less too so the value really hasn't changed as much.
